“We'll also meet Martha who says her addiction inspired her to change the lives of other woman. Martha was addicted to drugs for 12 years, and in 1990, she decided to get her life together. Martha entered a two-year drug treatment program, which changed her life. After her treatment she felt that if she can change her life so can other women. Martha became the founder and executive director of "Refocus Outreach Ministry, Inc." Refocus helps women in Martha's community direct their focus away from addiction and aim towards being competent mothers, involved citizens, and productive members of society.”
